New entries on AI
In recent weeks, most of the new entries have focused on AI and its impact on work.
We presented early results of the research at a workshop of the Centre for Agency, Values and Ethics at Macquarie University. The paper was called “Machine intelligence in the workplace: a critical review of recent literature”.
There are now currently 409 entries in the folder on Automation. They span some of the major industries impacted by AI (finance, healthcare and medicine, law, services), digital labour, automated cars, and a dozen more others.
Other recent entries also include the work of Cynthia Estlund on workplace democracy, and Roland Paulsen on non-work in the workplace.
The repository is fast approaching its 4,000th entry.
